PRODUCTION DATES:

Rehearsal: Monday March 28, 2016
1st Preview: Tuesday April 26, 2016

Opens: Friday April 29, 2016

Closes: Sunday May 22, 2016

AUDITION DATES:
•    STRATFORD:  Sunday May 3, 2015
•    TORONTO:  Monday May 4, 2015 with callbacks on Tuesday May 5 in the morning only
•    EDMONTON:  Wednesday May 6, 2015
•    CALGARY: Thursday May 7, 2015 in the afternoon only

SUBMISSIONS:
Those selected for an audition will be contacted and will have music from the play supplied.

Please submit headshots and resumes to Susan McNair Reid, Theatre Calgary, at smcnairreid@theatrecalgary.com by Sunday March 29, 2015 FOR ALL CITIES.

Indicate the role and the city of choice in the body of the email and write “The Light in the Piazza” in the subject line.

BAD JEWS AUDITIONS


PRODUCTION DATES:

1st Preview:    Tuesday March 15, 2016
Opening:    Friday March 18, 2016

AUDITION DATES:
•    Calgary:  Wednesday April 29, 2015 and  Friday May 1, 2015 (callbacks on May 1)
•    Toronto:  Monday May 4, 2015 and Tuesday May 5, 2015 (callbacks on May 5)
•    Montreal:  Wednesday May 6, 2015 (callbacks at end of day)

Please use “BAD JEWS audition submission” in the subject line and include the audition city and role in the body of the email.

SHAKESPEARE BY THE BOW - THE TEMPEST AUDITIONS


Theatre Calgary will be holding auditions in Calgary on Thursday, April 30, 2015 and Friday, May 1, 2015 for the company of Shakespeare by the Bow (SBTB) which will perform The Tempest, directed by Diane D’Aquila.  Performances take place at Prince’s Island Park. 
*Potential callbacks will be at the end of each day.

PROGRAM/PRODUCTION DATES:
First day of program    Tuesday, May 26, 2015
First day of rehearsal    Tuesday, June 2, 2015
Opening    Tuesday, June 23, 2015
Closing/Last day of program    Sunday, August 16, 2015
* Monday is the day off for the entire program.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•    Must be a graduate of a theatre program at a post-secondary institution within Alberta OR be an Albertan who has graduated from a theatre program at a post-secondary institution elsewhere.  No housing or transportation will be provided.
•    Must have graduated in 2015 or 2014.
•    Cannot have signed any type of Equity contract since graduation.
•    Cannot have been in SBTB/SITP in a previous year.

*Please include your year of graduation and the name of the institution you graduated from in your email and if you are an Albertan who trained elsewhere, please indicate where you are from.

MAX BELL THEATRE BARTENDERS


Theatre Calgary’s bartenders provide attentive and positive service to create exceptional guest experiences. Each bartender’s primary objective is to showcase Theatre Calgary as one of Canada’s foremost professional non-profit theatres, by exemplifying the highest level of customer service.

Reporting to the Event Services Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for:
•  Taking drink and snack orders from guests, present drink menus, make specific recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages.
•  Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Theatre Calgary’s standard drink recipes and AGLC regulations.
•  Accepting payment, processing debit and credit cards and making change.
•  Various other bar duties such as preparing garnish and stocking.

Qualifications:
•  Must be 18 years of age.
•  Poses current ProServ certification, or be willing to obtain within 30 days.
•  Have a positive and optimistic attitude and work well in a team.
•  Work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
•  Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 – 25 pounds.
•  Be able to work unsupervised.
•  Cash handling experience is an asset.
