As a not-for-profit arts organization, the support from individuals in our community is vital at this time.
In the wake of the cancellation of the remainder of our season, your support means more than just keeping our doors open. It means that you are able to help support us directly in numerous ways. Your contributions will assist both in the long-term with our Recovery Fund and in the short-term towards our team of young emerging artists and theatre practitioners that participate in our mentorships, Spotlight at the Eddy, and our upcoming Shakespeare by the Bow program (the latter of which we are currently working hard to innovatively create for this summer).
Every donation at this time makes a difference. And you can make that difference in the life of an artist, and a theatre company, today.
Thank you so much for your support of live theatre, and the artists in our community.

Update on COVID-19 at Theatre Calgary
As many of you are now aware, on March 12, 2020, the Province of Alberta asked for the immediate cancellation of all events of 250 people or more.
In response, Theatre Calgary cancelled all remaining performances of Admissions scheduled from March 13 through April 4, 2020, and postponed Million Dollar Quartet, originally scheduled to run from April 21 through May 24, 2020, until further notice.
While this decision was a difficult one, we feel it is the most responsible action we can take to ensure we are making the health and wellness of our patrons, employees, artists, volunteers and the broader Calgary community, our top priority.
For our subscribers and ticket holders of Admissions and Million Dollar Quartet, please follow these instructions:
- If you have tickets to Admissions or Million Dollar Quartet, please know that a member of our Audiences Services Team will be contacting you with your ticket options in the weeks ahead. If you require assistance you can also contact Audiences Services from the contact information listed below.
We ask for your patience and understanding while Theatre Calgary works through this. Please know that we are committed to helping you as soon as possible.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the artists, employees and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to bring the show Admissions to our stage. It is with heavy hearts that we cannot share this play with Calgary, but the most important consideration is the health and safety of our community.
We are working closely with the Provincial Government and the City of Calgary, monitoring the situation as it evolves and supporting their prevention efforts. We will provide you with an update about Million Dollar Quartet as soon as we are able, and please continue to watch our website and social media channels.
Thank you for your amazing passion and support for what we do. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones during this difficult time.
