  • Fall Musical Theatre Classes

    FALL MUSICAL THEATRE CLASSES

    Join TC faculty of professional theatre artists for six (6) weeks of Musical Theatre Training! Dance, act, and sing each class! Dig into musical theatre songs, build your skills, and have fun doing what you love. Each class consists of a physical warmup, vocal warmup, ensemble dance, ensemble/solo singing, and acting exercises.

    September 14, 21, 28, October 5, 19, 26

    YOUTH CLASSES: Ages 8 - 12 and 13 - 18, 4:30pm - 6:30pm
    ADULT CLASS: 1:30pm - 3:30pm
    Cost: $245

    Locations:
    Sept. 14, Oct 21, 26: Jack Singer Rehearsal Hall (Werklund Centre)
    Sept. 21, 28, Oct 5, 19: Theatre Calgary Rehearsal Hall (Werklund Centre)
    *All classes meet at Werklund Centre Stage Door entrance

    Theatre Calgary believes that the next generation of theatre artists and audiences are in your classroom. Work with Theatre Calgary to bring a little drama to your school year!

    Theatre Calgary can come to you!

    Theatre Calgary can bring an artist to your classroom. We can build a one session workshop, a week-long residency, or a weekly residency over an extended period. Term of engagement can be determined in collaboration with educators.

    You can come to Theatre Calgary! 
     
    Coming to see a matinee? Enrich your experience by adding a workshop. Our Show Workshops explore themes of the play through theatre games. Students can enjoy exercises and games that relate to the play they will see.
     
    Just want to come to the theatre? Book a workshop and a backstage tour! We offer part-day sessions (2.5 hours) and full-day sessions at the theatre.  
    *Back stage theatre tours are available throughout the school year (not available on matinee days).
