We believe in making theatre affordable for all and have several programs that will let you see Theatre Calgary shows at a reduced cost.

Pay-what-you-can

We offer a limited number of pay-what-you-can tickets for each production’s first Saturday matinee (2:00 p.m.)

Starting one (1) hour before the performance begins (1:00 p.m.), a limited number of seats will be available at the Max Bell Theatre Box Office. These cash-only tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. These tickets tend to sell out quickly, and seating is typically located on the Second Balcony level.

Sun Life Financial Arts & Culture Passes 

The Sun Life Financial Arts + Culture Pass is open to individuals and families who have a City of Calgary Recreation Fee Assistance card. Visit the Calgary Public Library for more information on discounts for Theatre Calgary.

$39 Theatre For All tickets

This season, we are thrilled to offer $39 main floor (orchestra) tickets for all of our shows in the Max Bell Theatre (opening night is $49). For our performances in the Martha Cohen Theatre (Made in Italy, Selma Burke) all tickets are $39. To purchase a $39 ticket for a performance, please click here (while supplies last).

Rush Tickets

Theatre Calgary offers a limited number of $25 Rush Tickets for our performances*, based on availability. Seats are randomly selected, and go on sale at 12:00pm MT the day of performance. To purchase click here (note: you can only purchase on the day of the performance).
